1 Member Requests

Requests for new or improved Web PABX features can be made on the Net2MAX Forum in the Web PABX Feature Request section.

Most SIP based VoIP networks will work with Web PABX transparently. But in some cases, some VoIP networks will need to be specially configured to interoperate with Net2MAX. Requests for special integration with troublesome VoIP Networks can be made in the same section on the forum.

Accepted requests will be listed in Accepted Feature Requests below with estimated times of completion.

The estimated times are indications only, the accepted integration or feature requests may be delayed or may not even be completed at all.


2 Accepted Feature Requests

2.1 Queues

Allow Members to have operator queues. Where operators can login and logoff.

ETA: Oct 2008

2.2 Recording

Allow recording of new file names dynamically. Caller can specify the file name by entering digits (e.g. 123) then a file is recorded with that name (e.g. 123.wav). This allow rapid recordings of a large number of voice files.

2.3 Files

Allow multiple file upload, download and delete at once. Allow rename of files.

2.4 Add Confirmation Beep for Recording

Beeps to inform the person who initiate the call recording (with *3*) that recording has started.

2.5 Web Call Panel

Web based Call Panel that allows:

Viewing:

  1. Incoming caller phone number
  2. Which phone is busy, ringing or available
  3. Who is talking and to whom
  4. SIP registration status and reachability
  5. Message Waiting Indicator and count
  1. Audio Conference status (number of participants)
  2. Queue status (number of users waiting)
  3. Parked channels
  4. Logged in Agents

Controlling:

  1. Hang-up a channel
  2. Transfer a call with Drag & Drop
  3. Originate calls with Drag & Drop
  4. Automatically pop up web page (with caller details)
  5. Click-to-Dial from a web page
  1. Barge in on a call using drag & drop
  2. Set the caller id when transferring or originating a call
  3. Mute/Unmute Audio Conference participants

2.6 Professional English System Voices

Replace English system prompts by engineers with professional voices.

2.7 System Voice Prompt Override

Allow Members to record their own "system" voice prompts. When Members have a voice prompt with the same name as the system voice prompts then it will be played instead of the system voice prompts.
