1 Introduction

We have decided on the search engine back end (the crawler) to use already.

However, the search engine front end is still being developed and tested, besides the ones listed here, we might add more search engine front ends in the future, before settling on the one to use.

2 Clustering Algorithms

By default the "Lingo" clustering is used to try to group your search results into something meaningful. But there are quite a few alternatives:

1. FuzzyAnts
2. HAOG-FI
3. HAOG-STC
4. Lingo
5. Rough k-Means
6. STC

To use these alternative clustering methods, simply click on the "Show options" link next to the "Search" button, then select the clustering algorithm you like from the drop-down box.
