1 Introduction
Printer to Fax removes the need of a conventional fax machine for sending faxes. You simply print the document you want to send, example: a .doc file, or a .pdf file to the Net2MAX Fax server.
2 Usage
To install Printer to Fax, simply login at http://net2max.com/login, click on Image->Printer to Fax->Install Printer to Fax. This step is only required once.
The program will be automatically installed and once completed, you will see the "Net2MAX Fax" in the "Printers and Faxes" folder.
You will also have a new program called WHFC installed which needs to be configured. Once configured, this program must be running (can be minimised) before you can send a document to the Net2MAX Fax server.
To configure WHFC, please click on the "Fax" menu and select "System preferences", then type "fax.net2max.com" for the hostname.
The next step is to put in the account number and password. To do this, click on the "Fax" menu again and select "User preferences".
If the login (account number) and password have been entered correctly, the "Ready" status will be displayed.
To send a fax, open the document, select "Print" and change the Printer name to "Net2MAX Fax".
After clicking on the OK button, a pop-up window for the destination fax number will appear.
The result of each delivery will be sent by email.
To start using the Printer to Fax, you can either start the WHFC program manually or login at http://net2max.com/login, click on Image->Printer to Fax->Start Printer to Fax.
