[edit] 1 Introduction

This page shows the you (the public) how to contact a Net2MAX member worldwide toll-free using the member's One Click Contact Number (1CC number).

You can easily establish voice, text and image communications with Net2MAX members simply by specifying their 1CC numbers either on your phone or computer.

[edit] 2 One Number

Only one number (the 1CC number) is required whether you are communicating voice, text or image using phone or computer.

For example, the member's 1CC number is their normal phone number but it is ALSO her:

  1. Toll-Free Number
  2. Fax Number
  3. SMS Number (Short Message Service)
  4. Voice Mail Number
  5. Email Address
  6. IM Address (Instant Message)
  7. VoIP Number (Voice over IP)
  8. Computer Screen Address
  9. Video Camera Address

You can contact the Net2MAX Member through a wide range of communication methods yet only have to remember ONE SINGLE phone number of the member.

The 1CC number 61290112121 will be used as an example here, you should replace it with the 1CC number that the Net2MAX member has given you.

The full domain "net2max.com" will be used here, but for non-English speaking members and for members giving out their contact information by voice on the phone, the alternative short domain "88.io" can be used instead of "net2max.com".

[edit] 2.1 Destination Phone Number

Net2MAX Members can be contacted through the phone number they give you, they will refer to it as their One Click Contact number (1CC number).

You will need to supply the 1CC number of the Net2MAX member you wanted to contact as the "destination phone number" when asked by the system.

HAVE Destination Number

If you have been given a phone number by a member, that number is just like a normal phone number with country code and area code in front.

The 1CC numbers you provide to the system as destination phone numbers MUST be specified in full international format (with country code and area code). For example:

61290112121 for a land line phone number 90112121 in Sydney, Australia
61410311070 for a mobile phone number 0410311070 in Australia

When using a web page, the Destination Phone Number is normally specified at the end of a web address. For example:

http://net2max.com/61290112121
http://88.io/61290112121

When using a phone, the Destination Phone Number is normally specified with an # (hash) at the end (in order to indicate the the system that you have finished entering so to speed up the dialling process).

NO Destination Number

If you do not have an 1CC number for a particular member, you can either search for it.

If you have NOT specified a Destination Phone Number in the web address, you will be transferred to a blank page, as shown below:

Image:1CC Blank Page.png

Here you can:

  1. enter the destination phone number of a member
  2. search for the destination phone number of a member
  3. switch language
  4. login as a member
  5. join Net2MAX

[edit] 3 Using Phones

Depending on the type of telephone you are using, you can communicate with the member through different mediums voice, text or images using a single 1CC number that the member has given you.

USING PHONE Using Computer
VOICE Voice
TEXT Text
IMAGE Image

1CC numbers are just normal phone numbers in international format (with country code and area code in front), so the phone number 90112121 in Sydney Australia has country code 61 and area code 2 becomnes the 1CC number 61290112121.

[edit] 3.1 Voice using Phone

With your phone, you can call a member by dialing her 1CC number directly if you are in the same city, toll-free if you are far away or using VoIP if you have an internet phone.

Since the member has automatic control of calls (transfers, conferencing, voice mail etc.), you calls might be handled differently depending on factors like your calling phone number, time of day, member availability etc.

Dial Direct

You can dialed the 1CC Number from any phone in the world, just like any normal phone numbers.

Image:PP_TP.gif

Since the 1CC number 61290112121 is in international format, if you are in Sydney you only need to dial 90112121, if you are in Australia you dial (02) 90112121 and if you are outside Australia you dial +61290112121 (where + is replace with the IDD prefix of your phone network).

Dial Toll-Free

You can reduce call costs substantially by using the worldwide list of toll-free phone numbers to call the 1CC number.

Image:PP_TF.gif

If you are NOT in Sydney, you can avoid paying long distance charges by ringing up one of the Toll-Free Numbers and then enter the 1CC number (e.g. dial 138813 then enter 61290112121). You will get connected to the member, like you are ringing the 1CC number directly.

Dial VoIP

You can eliminate the call cost altogether by dialing the 1CC number through an internet phone (as called Voice over IP or VoIP phone).

Image:PC_IP.gif

If you have a VoIP phone or a VoIP provider that supports the ENUM domain e164.name, then you can dial the 1CC number 61290112121 like it is a normal international phone number - the phone call will be made via the internet instead of going through the normal phone network.

If there is NO support for e164.name, either set it up yourself in your device or tell your VoIP provider to do so (a single e164.name entry into the ENUM table will allow free calls to be made to all Net2MAX numbers worldwide).

Without e164.name support, you can still dial the 1CC number directly by specifying its standard SIP address, which is the 1CC number in front of @net2max.com (e.g. 61290112121@net2max.com), from your VoIP phone.

[edit] 3.2 Text using Phone

You can send text to a member using mobile web services if your phone supports internet, otherwise you can use short message service.

Mobile Web Service

You can use the mobile web services (like WAP, i-mode, XHTML, HDML, MML, VoiceXML, HTML) on your mobile phone to communication with the member cheaply and instantly.

Image:PP_MW.gif

Select "Send Message" and then enter a message to the member in the input box.

Your text message may be delivered to the member as email, fax, SMS, instant message or be converted to voice and play to the member's phone. It is up to the member to decide on how to receive and respond to your text message.

If your mobile phone does NOT transfer you to the mobile phone site automatically, you can go there directly by entering

http://mobile.net2max.com/61290112121

instead of

http://net2max.com/61290112121

Short Message Service

You can send a text message to the member via list of Net2MAX SMS Numbers. The member does NOT need to have a mobile phone.

Image:PP_SM.gif

You just put the member's 1CC Number within the parentheses ( ) in the text message you send, for example:

(61290112121) Hello from Jane

Your text message may be delivered to the member as email, fax, SMS, instant message or be converted to voice and play to the member's phone. It is up to the member to decide on how to receive and respond to your text message.

[edit] 3.3 Image using Phone

With your fax machine, you can fax a member by dialing her 1CC number directly if you are in the same city or toll-free if you are far away. You can also send images from your phone's mobile camera.

Fax Direct

You can send a fax to the member by dialing the 1CC Number from any fax machine in the world.

Image:PP_FX.gif

When fax tone is detected on the line, the 1CC number will become a fax number instead of a voice number. The received fax will be delivered to the member's email box as a PDF file.

Note:   Some members' phone numbers do NOT support Direct Fax operation, please check with the members you are faxing to. If that is the case, you can fax them using the Toll-Free numbers, as described below.

Faxing will start automatically after that or you can press the "SEND" button on you fax machine when you hear fax tones.

Note:   Some toll-free numbers do NOT support fax operation, please check the toll-free number's capability on the Toll-Free Number List under the "Device" column

There is no software configuration and nothing new to learn - their 1CC number is presented as a standard web address, which when "clicked" will open up a personal multimedia communication channel to the member.

[edit] 4.1 Presentation on Computer

The 1CC number remains the same whether it is accessed from computer or phone, but on the computer, the member has the extra ability of presenting it in many different ways.

Main Page

The main contact page of all 1CC numbers is at http://net2max.com To contact an 1CC number just put it behind http://net2max.com/

For example, the web link for the 1CC number 61290112121 in Sydney, Ausralia is http://net2max.com/61290112121 which can also be presented as wide range of different clickable links on any web sites, emails, messages, documents worldwide.

With 1CC Number:
You do NOT need to remember a member's 1CC number because it is normally embedded in the web link that you click on:
  1. Text:
    +61 2 9011 2121   or   Office Tel: (02) 9011 2121   or   Click HERE to Contact Me!

  2. Images:

  3. Links:
    http://OneClickContact.com/61290112121   or   http://00001.cc/61290112121

Without 1CC number:
In some cases, the 1CC number is NOT embedded in the web link:
http://net2max.com     or     http://OneClickContact.com     or     http://00001.cc
A dial pad will be displayed to collect the member's 1CC number from you:
This is useful in short phone conversations, the member will just tell you to "go to net2max.com and enter my phone number".

Web Phone

Public just click on the web link and they will be presented with different ways of contacting you from the web.

If the Public's Computer has microphone installed, they can just click the "Dial" button to call the member.

Image:PC_WP.gif

Note:   For Web Phone to work, you will need Java Software. If it is not already installed on your computer, you can download it FREE from the Java Download Page or you can use other calling methods listed here.

Call Back

If your computer do NOT have microphone installed, you can enter your phone number into the web page, 1CC will call you back on that phone number.

Image:PC_CB.gif

If your phone is an Internet phone (VoIP) please enter the SIP address e.g. 61290111010@sip.oztralia.com. Remember this is YOUR phone number for Net2MAX to call you back on, this is not the member's 1CC number.

Note:   All members allow calling back to your internet phone, although some members may NOT allow calling back to your normal phone.

Text to Voice

If your computer does NOT have microphone installed and you do NOT have a phone to be called back on, you can type a voice message for the member.

Image:PC_Text_to_Voice.gif

Delivering your text message in voice is especially useful when you want immediate attention of the member, when the member does NOT have a SMS capable phone or cannot read SMS text messages.

Note:   If you enter your email address, a delivery report will be sent to that email address to inform you of the result of the delivery of your message.

[edit] 4.3 Text using Computer

Image:PC_Text.gif

If the member is OFFLINE, your text message may be delivered to the member as email, fax, SMS, instant message or be converted to voice and play to the member's phone. It is up to the member to decide on how to receive and respond to your text message.

Instant Message

(61290112121) Hello

Your text message may be delivered to the member as email, fax, SMS, instant message or be converted to voice and play to the member's phone. It is up to the member to decide on how to receive and respond to your text message.

Net2MAX instant accounts are just for casual messaging purpose, you should instant message directly to the member's own account to get the all benefits of these great instanting messaging networks.

Electronic Mail

The member's email address is just their 1CC number at net2max.com (e.g. 61290112121@net2max.com).

Image:PC_Email.gif

[edit] 4.4 Image using Computer

Communication will be much improved if you can SEE what the member is seeing from your web page. Remote screen access allows you and her to look at the her computer screen together and, if enabled, to move the mouse and type on the keyboard together.

Image:PC_Sreen.gif

There is no software to install or configure, the remote screen appears inside your web page. Just ask the member for a password to view or control her computer screen.

With the "view password", you can remotely view the whole desktop of the member's computer screen OR one specific window on it. If you are provided with a "control password" instead, you can use the remote mouse and keyboard as well.
