1 Introduction
Instant Message (IM) gives you the ability to have real-time text based interaction with the public and fellow members.
Net2MAX provides each member with an IM account based the jabber protocol (also known as XMPP protocol).
Almost any jabber clients (Click HERE for a the long list) on any computing platform, PC, Macs, Linux, Symbian, Mobile Windows etc. will work.
For the Microsoft Windows platform (more platform will be added later), Net2MAX can automatically download and install a preconfigured jabber client for you on your computer - click on Smart Message after your have logged into net2max.com for details.
In case you do not want to download and configure any Jabber software yourself, Net2MAX provides a limited function web based IM client suitable for running in browsers on most computers (PC, MAC, UNIX etc.) - click on Smart Message after your have logged into net2max.com for details.
1.1 Instant Message Roster
When you first joined Net2MAX, the following IM contacts are automatically added to your instant message roster under the "Net2MAX" group.

A system IM contact that monitors your status, send you system messages and allows you to send it Instant Commands so you can tell Net2MAX to perform actions for you. - 61290112121

1.2 Web Based Instant Message
There is a web based instant messenger on the http://net2max.com available for both the public and members to use.
1.3 Jabber Based Instant Message
- Jabber Identity (jid):
your 1CC number in front of @net2max.com

same as the initial password given to you for your 1CC

Note, since you are going to expose your password to 3rd party jabber clients, you can and should change your jabber password to something different to that of your 1CC password. You can do so at anytime by logging into http://net2max.com.
1.4 Multiple Protocols
Access multiple IM network from a single user interface.
Server based Jabber, MSN, Yahoo, AIM, ICQ, IRC.
Client based Jabber, MSN, Yahoo, AIM, ICQ, IRC, Skype, QQ.
1.5 Centralised History
Because the Jabber client works seamlessly with other Instant Message clients, such as ICQ, MSN, Skype, Yahoo etc, the history for all is stored in a central place. This eliminates the need of having different Instant Message Clients for each one.
2 Microsoft Windows
The following information refers to the automatic downloaded Instant Message client for members using then Microsoft Windows platform.
The following is the feature list of the free IM client that comes under the Community Device Configuration (CDC) for Microsoft 32-bit Windows NT/2000/XP/2003 etc. (CDC_Win32_English). If you are not using those windows operating system then the IM client bundled for your operation system may be different to theone described here.
Note, you do NOT have to use the IM client from the CDC. You can also use your own jabber IM client (like those on the Jabber software list) to connect to Net2MAX. Most of those software are FREE and can be used immediately after download.
2.1 Access Jabber Network

One of the cool features is the ability to do a screenshot as well as send it just like a file transfer.
2.4 Click To Contact
Apart from the traditional text chat, users can also do an audio or video session. To do this, simply right click on the user on the Jabber contact list and select "Audio Session" or "Video Session" or "Web Phone".
2.5 IM Integration
The following 3 IM network plugins have been INCLUDED in the download but have not initially been activated.

Instant Message with people on MSN - Yahoo
Instant Message with people on Yahoo
You can activate them by entering your GoogleTalk, MAN, Yahoo account details in the "Plugins" section under the "Options" menu.
For other IM networks (like Skype, SIP, AIM, QQ etc.) please download the corresponding plugins yourself.
2.6 Automatic Reply
The main task of the plugin is to provide possibilty of autoreplying, i.e. when you recieve message plugin replies using message, specifyed by you. This plugin is useful when you're not near PC but for you is important to inform several users about something ;)
- Note: There are 2 rules in this plugin that you should NOT touch without knowing what you are doing:
- Net2MAX Call Start
- Net2MAX Call End
- These are used to change your status from "Online" To "Do Not Disturb" when you start a call and back from "Do Not Disturb" to "Online" when you finish a call.

2.7 Additional Plugins
There are hundreds of plugins for you to download into your "Net2MAX/IM/Plugins" directory. From messaging to people on other instant message networks, to changing the look and feel to the program, to find out information on the weather or currency exchange rates ... even remotely controlling equipment in your house!
Some examples:

- Email Plugins - Microsoft Exchange, Lotus Notes, Hotmail, POP3
Net2MAX does not recommend nor support any particular additional plugin for any application. Listed above are simply some plugins that some members have reported using successfully with the CDC installation.

1. Introduction

This comprehensive coverage of instant messaging networks is combined to with Net2MAX's Universal Access capabilities:
- Access Number - allows any normal phones (landline or mobiles) to call the instant messaging clients using our list of worldwide access numbers - BOTH public calling members on instant messengers AND members calling public on instant messengers are supported.
- Local Number - allows callers on normal phones dialing member's own dedicated (local phone numbers worldwide) to be forwarded to instant messengers.
- Web PABX - allows members to control which caller from which network is transferred to which instant messenger at what time.
- Web Dialer - allows members to make calls to non-numeric names of instant messengers using a standard numeric only phone dial-pad on any phone.
The wide coverage of all 4 major instant messenger networks plus the seamless integration with both internet phones (SIP, IAX, Web) and normal phones (landline, mobile) enables Net2MAX to provide World's First Universal Instant Messanger Dailer to our members.
2. Usage
Simply use the 3 new Network Numbers 091, 092, 093 to call each instant messenger network from your normal phone, internet phone or web pabx. http://en.net2max.com/Web_Dialer_List#External_Networks
2.1 Google Talk Network (091)
To dial to a Google Talk address (googletalkuser@googletalkdomain.com) put an entry in your Quick Dial under your Web Dialer.
For example, to dial mrsmith@gmail.com, assign 899091mrsmith@gmail.com with a Quick Dial number of "899091123" or simply "123", then just enter 899092123 or 123 in your phone to ring mrsmith@gmail.com on his Google Talk client.
2.2 MSN Live Messenger Network (092)
To dial to a MSN address (msnuser@msndomain.com) put an entry in your Quick Dial under your Web Dialer.
For example, to dial mrsmith@hotmail.com, assign 899092mrsmith@hotmail.com with a Quick Dial number of "899092123" or simply "123", then just enter 899092123 or 123 in your phone to ring mrsmith@hotmail.com on his MSN Live Messenger.
2.3 Yahoo Messenger Network (093)
To dial to a Yahoo address (yahoouser@yahoodomain.com) put an entry in your Quick Dial under your Web Dialer.
For example, to dial mrsmith@yahoo.com, assign 899093mrsmith@yahoo.com with a Quick Dial number of "899093123" or simply "123", then just enter 899093123 or 123 in your phone to ring mrsmith@yahoo.com on his Yahoo Messenger.
