1 Introduction

2 SMS Gateway

This section is ONLY for advanced user running their own SMS gateway in their Net2MAX Station.

Net2MAX SMS Gateway is built into each Net2MAX Station. You can apply with your local Net2MAX Centre to have it turned on. An extra fee might be charge for that.

It can achieve bi-directional SMS through standard AT command sets with most SMS modem (with an active mobile SIM card inside). The Wavecom WM02 or compatible SMS modem is preferred.

For high volume SMS traffic, Net2MAX SMS Gateway can connect directly with the SMSC using the following protocols over IP:

  1. UCP/EMI 4.0 (preferred)
  2. SMPP 3.4
  3. CIMD 2.0


3 Instant Message Gateway

Net2MAX Instant Message Gateways currently are only loaded on Net2MAX Stations owned by the net2MAX Centres.
