Once the Private Certificate has been downloaded and saved in your local disk, it is time to configure your email client. The set up below is for Microsoft Outlook Express since this is one of the commonly used email clients.

Click on Tools->Options->Security->Digital IDs->Import->A "Certificate Import Wizard" window will appear.

1.2 Public Certificate

The Public Certificate is the certificate used by other people. In order for you to send to or to receive encrypted emails from those users, the Public Certificate of each user must also be installed in addition to the Private Certificate.

The import procedure is the same as the Private Certificate, except it is placed under the "Other People" tab.

Once the Public Certificate for the user has been saved to the local disk, the next step is to add this user in the "Address Book".

Please note: The email address must be in the format of 1CC@net2max.com, example: 61292176017@net2max.com.

Then click on the "Digital IDs" tab and import the Public Certificate for this user.
