1 Introduction

Access Number features included in the monthly fee allows you to receive up to 2 concurrent calls through Access Numbers from Internet Phones.

Here we describe EXCESS charges for features that are NOT included in the monthly fee. So, these charges might NOT apply to you unless you require the extra features.

2 Excess Charges

There can be 3 types of Excess Charges with Access Number:

  1. External Incoming Charge
Applies if the caller dials into an Access Number from an external network (like the landline or mobile phone).
  2. Excess Channel Charge
Applies if you want to allow more than 2 concurrent calls through the Access Numbers.
  3. External Outgoing Charge (Outgoing)
Applies when you transfer the incoming call to an external network (like the landline or mobile phone).

For exact prices of these 3 Excess Charges, please refer to the Net2MAX Centre Charges page.

3 External Incoming Charge

The Access Charge is paid by the Net2MAX member. It is based the number of calls into the Access Number.

This per call Access Charge varies depending on the Access Number used, the price per call for each Access Number is listed on the Access Number page inside the Message Portal.

The Access Charge is charged on ALL incoming calls to Access Number (expect those that belongs to Free Access below), this applies even to calls that access the Member Menu only.

3.1 Free Access

Some Access Numbers can be used free of "External Incoming Charge", these are normally major cities where there are a lot of Net2MAX Members.

All Net2MAX members do NOT have to pay the "External Incoming Charge" for calls into these Access Numbers.

Access Numbers that are free of Access Charges have a value of zero on the price list.

4 Excess Channel Charge

Some Net2MAX Centres may charge monthly fees for the use of Access Numbers (on top of the usage based Access Charge and Destination Charge described below).

5 External Outgoing Charge

Destination Charge is based on the Web Dialer settings of the individual Net2MAX Member. If the member does not have their Web Dialer set up then the default call rate will apply.

5.1 Free Destinations

Many Destination Numbers can be entered free of "Destination Number Charge" to the Net2MAX Members, these are normally Internet Phone Numbers, Receiver Pays Numbers, phone numbers in the ENUM databases etc.

6 Charge Protection

In order to prevent charges from unneccessary calls, the Net2MAX Member can explicitly turn OFF individual Access Numbers in different locations (on the Access Number page under the Member Portal) in order to receive calls from and thus be charged for those allowed Access Numbers.

7 Examples of Charges

Whether it is an incoming call or an outgoing call, there are two usage charges to the Net2MAX Member.

  1. "Access Charge" depends on which Access Number the caller dialed.
  2. "Destination Charge" depends on which Destination Number the caller entered when prompted.

The two charges correspond to the two step involved in the use of the Access Number.
