1 Introduction

The Universal Portal allows Members and Communities to create centralised access points for themselves and people contacting them, across different online devices (Phones, Fax, Computers, PDA etc.)

2 Universal Domain

Unlike other service providers who force their users to use the providers' domains (thus their branding), Net2MAX allows its users to use the users' own domains and thus their own branding on their services.

Net2MAX Limited uses the net2max.com domain to perform continuous development. It then works with the Net2MAX Centres in each country to create a localised version for that country and deploy it under Staging Domains.

Net2MAX Centres and Net2MAX Communities in each country then take the localised version under the Staging Domain to create their own customised version for their members under their own domain.

Since there can be millions of domains at different stages of deployment, Net2MAX has created an Universal Domain 88.io which can be used to access services associated with an Universal Number independent of which domain that Universal Number is actually operating under.

2.1 88.io

The 88.io is a short domain name that is designed to work across different countries and cultures.

It is a simple REDIRECTION domain, it does not actually run any service. It is a simple way of telling people how to find your Universal Number on the Internet.

For example:

Your Universal Number is 61290112121 and to tell people to join your online conference, instead of saying

Please go to http://conference.net2max.com/61290112121

you simply say

Please go to http://88.io/61290112121

you can of course also tell them to go to YOUR OWN domain

Please go to http://www.example.com/conference

All the above 3 web addresses go to the same palce - online conference for 61290112121. The 88.io is just an extra alternative for you to use, in case you do NOT have or want to give out your own domain.

88.io is especially good for phone conversions, since every character is clear without needing to view it.

88.io is also very useful in countries that do not use English as their main language.

3 Public Portal

The Public Interface can run under member's own branding, for example the member's own domain.

The default domain is http://net2max.com but any valid domain name can be used.

4 Member Portal

Member have full control of their Net2MAX functions by logging into their Member Portal e.g. http://www.net2max.com/login
